While Sidharath Chhatani worked as a Research Associate at the Institute for Research on Labor, Employment, & the Economy (IRLEE) at the University of Michigan (UM), he was also a Product Design Intern at FarmLogs. During his time at IRLEE he was pursuing his Masters in Information Science from School of Information, University of Michigan. For IRLEE, Sidharath switched roles between a web developer, graphic designer and a social media marketing associate working on the enhancing the web development processes, enhancing the social media presence and visualizing the information. He helped develop the IRLEE website in an agile team model and made graphics for the reports, websites and other key pieces of program collateral. Sid had the opportunity to develop websites and graphics for multiple programs at the institute including the Defense Manufacturing Assistance Program (DMAP), First Customer Program (FCP), Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), and the Small Company Innovation Program/Technology and Commercialization Assistance Program (SCIP/TCA). Before working at IRLEE, he was at Tech Startup in Mumbai, India working in web development, working on frameworks like Ruby on Rails & PHP – Laravel. He graduated from the University of Mumbai with his B.E. in Computer Science (Class of 2013).
