Vikesh Chandrashekar serves as a project manager at the University of Michigan’s Economic Growth Institute. At the institute, Vikesh works in supporting growth initiatives for early stage technology companies and small manufacturing companies in Michigan. He is also a ‘Certified Allovance Decision Coach’ skilled at facilitating strategic planning sessions for organizations.

Vikesh actively works to establish innovation partnerships between Michigan universities and small businesses and works closely with UM students to give them practical training in business analysis and connect them to local businesses. During COVID Vikesh worked to communicate reopening toolkits from University faculty to local businesses, one example is featured in Harvard Business Review. Vikesh also manages the Global Entrepreneur In Residence program at the Economic Growth Institute. The infusion of experienced entrepreneurs enriches the region’s startup community, and helps attract more investment and international interest.

Vikesh is also the co-instructor for the UM class ENTR 490: Re-imagining a Company Through Innovation. Vikesh has a Masters in Industrial and Operations Engineering from UM with an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, India.
