ABOUT DCAP

The Defense Cybersecurity Assurance Program was established in order to strengthen small and medium-sized defense suppliers through the following:

    • A cybersecurity awareness assessment
    • Expert support to implement critical tools to secure CUI
    • Verify compliance to DFARs 252.204-7012
    • Educational Seminars
    • Resource Mapping
    • Identification of Workforce Gaps as related to cybersecurity

The Defense Cybersecurity Assurance Program (DCAP) partners have completed 117 assessment projects and 117 companies verified compliance to DFAR 252.204-7012 (NIST SP 800-171) through expert support. The team has educated over 3,000 companies and individuals in the defense supply chain on cybersecurity awareness.
