Michael Forbis

Michael Forbis has a background in start-ups, building technologies and engineering. He has developed several green-tech start-up companies, most recently as one of the founders and CEO of University of Michigan spinout, Arborlight Inc. Prior to that, he oversaw real estate development projects in the Boston area. And before that, he was a principle certified engineer at Lockheed Martin Space Systems in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he designed and built military spacecraft hardware. Michael earned an MBA from Boston University, an MSME from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a BSME from the University of Michigan. He also earned an Aero/Astro Systems Engineering certificate from Stanford University, a Six Sigma Black Belt from the University of Michigan and a LEED AP from the USGBC.
