Manav Gopal

Manav Gopal is a Research Associate at the University of Michigan’s Economic Growth Institute.

Manav is a first-year MS student in Industrial and Operations Engineering, specializing in financial engineering. He holds dual undergraduate degrees in Industrial Engineering and Economics from Penn State. Prior to joining the EGI, Manav interned at Deloitte in Dubai, where he built financial tracking models and delivered data-driven operational recommendations for client engagements. He also completed a supply chain internship at Stanley Black & Decker, where he led process improvement initiatives generating a estimated $2M in annual savings.

Outside of work, Manav enjoys sports, gaming, travel, and stock market investing. He also loves spending time with his friends and family.
